Al Horford is an All-Star Power Forward with the Oklahoma City Thunder. The former 3rd overall pick in the 2007 NBA Draft, Horford is a 5x NBA All-Star who spent his first nine seasons with the Atlanta Hawks before signing a maximum salary contract with the Boston Celtics in 2016 and a 4 year deal with the Philadelphia 76ers in 2019. Horford was traded to the Oklahoma City Thunder for one season after being traded back to the Boston Celtics for the 2021-2022 season.

Al Horford is extremely involved in the education and activity of young children in both the United States and the Dominican Republic. He has visited countless schools around the country and held numerous basketball clinics in Atlanta, his hometown in Michigan, and his home country of the Dominican Republic. In August of 2015, Horford along with the NBA and FIBA held the first Basketball without Borders camp in Santo Domingo. Horford continues to engage in the advancement of children through education and fitness, and continues to work with Dominican Republic officials towards providing Dominican children the best opportunities for schooling and athletics.
